History
Betty K named after the daughter of the founder, The Late Mr. C. Trevor Kelly. A Fully owned Bahamian company was born out of an idea from the owner who saw the need to purchase a boat to take care of their personal needs.

The boat then, nicknamed the "Potato and Onion" boat would transport lumber for the Kelly families, has now grown to be one of the largest carrier serving The Bahamas, operating between Miami - Nassau, Nassau - Abaco and just recently a Jacksonville - Nassau service. Betty K also operates two vessels BK VI and BKVII.
The president of the company, Mr. Jack Sands had a vision that would give customers the opportunity to shop and load their cargo themselves in a SecurBox®, providing safety on fragile items. Betty K became the first to introduce the Secur Boxes to The Bahamas. The advantage Betty has is the close proximity to the airport in Miami, FL and the only shipping company to offer seven days full service to the customers.
Mr. Sands being the visionary that he is, had a dream one night where he wanted to take the company in 2009. That dream became a reality where public relations and customer service department was launched, solely dedicated to the needs of Betty K. Customers.
At Betty K Agencies, our motto is "Exceptional Quality Service, Providing Each Customer With a High Level of Attention".
